In its continuing commitment to road race participants and area non-profits, the Manchester Road Race Committee initiated a new program in 2017. The MRR Honors Club will provide members with unique benefits, while supporting a local charitable organization.
For a fee of $100 and limited to the first 100 registered members, all proceeds of the MRR Honors Club will be donated to a single designated charity. This year’s Honors Program recipient organization will be the Veteran’s Support Foundation (VSF).
The VSF offers transitional housing assistance and other support to Connecticut veterans who are enrolled in the Veteran’s Administration healthcare system. One of three houses operated in the state by VSF is located in Manchester.
This charitable effort is being undertaken by the Manchester Road Race in conjunction with its efforts to honor members of the armed forces and veterans at this year’s race. Click here for more info.
