Town-Wide Bleeding Control Initiative
Road Race group donates $9,500 toward bleeding control initiatives

The Manchester Road Race Committee recently donated $9500 from the proceeds of the 2018 Thanksgiving Day Road Race to purchase tourniquets, compression bandages and other emergency medical supplies for a town-wide bleeding control initiative. Pictured below with the emergency medical supplies, which will be distributed to Manchester Schools, public buildings and other strategic locations throughout the town, is Joshua Beaulieu, Battalion Chief and EMS Officer with the Manchester Fire-Rescue-EMS Department.
Manchester’s “Stop the Bleed” program is a joint initiative of the Town of Manchester, Manchester Board of Education, and the Manchester Fire-Rescue-EMS Department. Pictured below are the bleeding control supplies that will be maintained at Manchester Schools and other locations throughout the town. They were recently purchased with a $ 9500 donation by the Manchester Road Race Committee from the proceeds of the 2018 Thanksgiving Day Road Race.
